WE FIGHT URGES

 

remember us not only in your prayers 

in supplications and daily manners

for we are about to derail and go astray 

it is not something to speak of per say 

remember us in your thanksgiving 

we, children of the downtrodden are still living 

we are also born of flesh 

please don’t treat us as trash 

we constantly fight urges 

to reciprocate all you’ve done to us like urchins 

I hope you know we will be justified for our actions 

we will so much fight you with passions 

remember you have destroyed the country 

spending tax payers money like it’s lottery 

you’ve destroyed the future of we youth 

every freaking day you swim in loot 

you stick to powers like leech 

pastors mounts podiums only to preach 

no actions taken, no morales 

when the time comes, it will be aura for aura 

remember you are the target 

your corpses will be laughed at at the market 

we won’t stop until we inhale fresh breath of air 

in the game of war, everything is fair 

remember you can surrender now 

leave the throne, curtain call and take a bow 

once we draw our swords, no sheathing 

till it pierces your heart while beating 

you remember us not when having nice meal 

tell us, was this the deal?
