A LITTLE BIT OF MORE

 

add it all up, let’s sum it up 

life becomes worthless when you drop 

people will cry then feast at your funeral 

someone else will fill your space like epidural 

life’s algorithm is unpredictable 

hades is ironically hospitable 

choose your method of dying my friend 

nothing is promised, our breathe is on lien 

sun burn leaves a degrading message 

sun kiss warms the heart in homage  

beauty doesn’t reside forever 

pay it less attention, you will soon wither 

a little bit of sugar in my meal 

waken my taste bud so they can chill 

I have conquered death but he keeps knocking 

I have embraced life but it feels slurpy 

an embargo placed on your soul for retribution 

our hustles are just worthless mission 

time ticks and lure us to our graves 

our caskets cages us so we can behave 

show me a man who lived at his fullest 

a life of pain, so pointless 

repugnancy and desolation in full mode 

pain and death was never a myth foretold 

a little bit of more years in retrograde 

love, beauty and memories will fade

then you’d realize that life amounts to nothing 

you’d draw your last breath then death closes your curtain
