tempest huge and erupting like a volcano

you then feel trapped and helpless

cause your heart has been toiled with 

when loneliness takes over your psyche

those you banked on ghosts you 

you feel your whole world is crashing

when the love you give is unreciprocated 

she walked away in your vulnerable state 

your heart feels battered and shattered

when they say “I do”

convincing but yet your heart screams otherwise 

I hope you know the ball is in your court

when your heart feels heavy 

restitutions done but you still feel burdened 

you search deep in your soul but there is no hole

when your whole life is in jeopardy 

you turn around and no one to comfort 

you look up to the sky in depression 

calm down, it’s okay 

when the one you love spites you

wasted years you’ve given to the cause 

hurled insults to your injuries 

calm down, it’s okay 

when death lurks around you 

all loved ones gone, all love lost 

a little exhausted with no shoulder to cry on
