WE LOST COMMUNICATION

 

we were more than happy 

two beautiful souls entwined 

our spark generates tremendous energy 

we vibed so easily 

inseparable they call it 

all our dots were connected perfectly 

little did we know life itself is a poor player 

destinies are the downfall of souls 

we forgot that ego has a page for human tragedies 

pride wrote a full chapter dedicated to us 

‘out of sight’ drew all the animated characters 

‘out of mind’ was the biographer 

we tried to ignore innate defaults 

rather than work on them, we overlooked 

“all humans are damaged” we forgot 

ignored the sensitives but embraced narratives

so distance played a fast one on us 

then we lost communication 

time mocked our feelings 

consistency dwindled till it faded 

now we are far apart, very much apart 

interwoven heart now yanked off by separation 

if anyone ask me if I’m okay 

well, I guess I am… nope, I’m not
