I MISS IT ALL

 

a gentle stare out of the window 

as little ray of the morning sun flickers 

I stopped and freeze but for a moment 

my mind reverie back to what it all was 

I miss it all 

coolness and serenity of my mind

my heart beating less to stress 

love was all the air I breathe 

I miss it all

night express with midnight calls 

smiling on the phone sheepishly 

not realizing time has been far spent 

I miss it all 

your polyphonic soft voice on the phone 

telling me what and what’s not 

a religion so captivating 

I miss it all

your arms being my peace 

your words soothing and comforting 

you were all I craved for 

I miss it all right now 

as I stare at the ray of the morning-sun kiss me

I have traveled down memory lane for the moment 

everything isn’t what it used to be again
