THE MOON OF DREAMS

 

lit as it shines 

adorning our bodies like coral beads 

our reflections holding a fortress behind us

unbeatable synergy of nature 

there we sit, arms locked 

your hair fluttering in sync with the subtle wind 

your pulse slowly thundering 

your aura, dominates the air 

our moment feels now 

on this mat we sit in display 

nature cheering aesthetically 

as unfathomable ecstasy 

a little darkness sweeps as the moon winks 

a staccato move to cheer

but neither did the cricket nor insects stop chirping 

for it shine brighter again

we are here

let’s dream awhile 

above us is the brilliancy of the moon 

a memory we will forever cherish
