WE AIN’T PERFECT

 

after all, we are human 

we ain’t perfect 

whoever wants perfection isn’t ready to live 

we are foes and friends aligning 

our blood runs unmatched

our facials scares us sometimes 

mistakes brings strives and complexity 

uneasy lies the head that wears the crown 

we sway to the unknown rhythm 

smile at the face of pain 

look good even when our hearts are bleeding 

we ain’t perfect, we are still beings 

still between all these, we procreate 

stand our grounds on shaky soils 

look out for others while dying in silence 

birthdays are not for dying 

our ancestors whispers to us at times 

our subconscious interprets realities 

but we lose focus when necessary 

dark days brings out the beauty in us all

here we are still trying to figure it all out

most of us lost, confuse, not knowing what to do 

but in the midst of it all, be thankful for breathe 

remember we are mere human, we ain’t perfect
