TRICKS

It takes courage to stand in the face of defeat 

wisdom to stay in marriage 

a special grace to reside in an insane world 

trusting easily in worshipping just one god 

we are naturally born without identity 

our families bestow us names and religion 

instinct is the only comforter of our souls 

life often times, plays dirty tricks on us 

you are alone in this world 

people radiate love only when it’s necessary

everyone is approximately a sojourner 

our mind is the safest place to reside peacefully 

the leech has two daughters 

their names are ‘give’ and ‘give’

selfishness of human existence 

a huge appetite that is insatiable 

I wonder why we don’t have past memories when we reincarnate 

I’d like to remember what maimed me 

but life is a part popper 

a recycle bin, our sickness, our infirmary

no one comes too early 

we all have our designed time and grace 

never look around in envy 

pray for grace even if you’re not told 

remember to hold on to what works for you 

hold on to the faith of whatsoever you worship

unless you just want to play dice with your life 

just like vapor, you’re gone and never remembered
