REALITY CHECK

 

keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable

for life comes to us bearing gifts 

some we bargain for 

others as test for endurance 

our love crave for reciprocation 

we keep some memories for remembrance 

our life is like kite in motion

sailing with ease on a calm sea 

we open our eyes and wake at dawn 

breaking away from nightmares and fears 

even the day isn’t promised

only the lucky ones stays alive to try again 

our life is nothing but a cannonball

launched always into the oblivion without prospect 

our breathe is just a soothsayer 

will cease one day, rendering us speechless 

our blood boils when we are angry 

a mere human beast mode in play

foolishness is when you give in to it’s demand 

a regret which can never be undone 

scars reminds us of an incident 

they are never beautiful, we are only fooling 

incisions are beautiful though 

never ever juxtapose these two, never! 

deep down within us all

we crave for love, peace, wealth and happiness 

a mere creature wanting what’s not there 

let’s keep it up, our six feet awaits us all

death is not what they say it is

death is freedom, death is pure 

life is a betrayal, a gift to mock us 

a disease we can never be cured from
