unzip and unmask me

then you’d see the true pain I mask 

be kind not to scream at what you see

for this is the real me in pains 

pains inflicted by those I loved 

those I thought I had built a world 

those who laid a rosy bed for me to lie 

not knowing it’s sheet are thorny 

I gave my all without holding anything back 

I loved unconditionally without questioning 

I chose a lovely path to walk towards love 

but I am made a victim in twisted plots 

unmask and unzip me

then you’d see my true identity 

I’ve hid so much pain and hurts 

I’m sorry, I can never be whole again
