just a faint flash

your thoughts sprints in my head

you crept into my mind 

you who I had long forgotten with ease 

ease I said?

it wasn’t, as easy at it could be 

but gradually your memories faded 

it became like a dry land which never yielded 

but I’m happy we met 

you left me change and focused 

you whom I felt we were forever entwined 

a future I only dreamed about 

did I forgive you? Yes I did 

were you wrong for walking out? Maybe not  

I guess I was the wrong one 

built utopias and castles with sands 

I remembered you today, a flash thoughts 

I actually smiled when it happened 

caressed the thought for a little while

then I said a little prayer for you
