STITCHES

 

a deep laceration over her heart 

tried to pull free from all fight

if you aren’t in her shoes, you’ll never know 

how she has been dealt with so much blow 

lovers came and go 

tortured her mind and soul 

if she cries she’s weak now 

it’s enough for her self confidence to bow 

she pulls up her guard 

believing every guy is bad 

this was not how it’s suppose to be 

life is nothing but a cheat 

she’s on the verge of ending it 

nothing else in her world is lit 

if your path crosses, try not complicate her already placid heart

she needs a reassurance hug and a warm pat
