they say “man was born to die”

both young and old are cursed to lie

your life is nothing but a whisk of smoke 

but this is none of my business 

let me have a sip of alcohol

they say “the sin of man is too much”

chasing money and luxuries in mad rush 

killing and maiming lives for rituals 

but this is none of my business 

let me have a sip of alcohol

they say “the truth will set you free”

karma is not dead, it will one day decree 

whatever they say, you all agree, right?

but this is none of my business 

let me have a sip of alcohol

they say “a madman is mentally deranged”

the sane sees him and calls him damaged 

who is to say, what if being mad is the real sanity?

this is still none of my business

they say “the messiah will come one day”

the heavens will open and bright light will descend in ray

then he will judge the strong and the frail 

but this is actually none of my business

goodness and mercy will abide with you unending 

well, they might be right but life does not operate like our psychology

they say “he who kills with a gun shall die by a bullet”

the weak has been slained while blood gushed from their gullet

killers, looters and criminals are living blissful lives 

but this is really none of my business

they say “one day your dreams will come true”

you have to wake up early enough before the first dew

but you know dreams are better than reality 

oh! but this is actually none of my business

they say “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”

maybe we should ask Noah when he was building the ark 

man-made laws and lies are created for personal attacks 

this is none of my business

they say “children are the leaders of tomorrow”

but it’s evident everyone is living in sorrow

Nigeria is insane, the leaders love to borrow 

but for real, but this is actually… none of my business
