A DEPRESSED SOUL

she whispers to herself in front of the mirror

“nothing is worth it anymore”

staring at her swollen eyes and sunken face

tears streams down again

she cried bitterly for love unreciprocated

jilts and heartbreaks shown to her face

pieces of her heart she gathered again was re-broken

she knew this was the height of it all

staring at the small bottled content on the dresser

this won’t make a quick kill but leave me in pains

I’d rather prefer a stab to the heart

my heart’s already a mess, I won’t feel the pain

she pick a knife and slit her wrist

a colorful scene as her blood ooze out

she smiled as the thick liquid swims on the floor

the tiles never halt the flow but enjoyed the slow velocity

nano seconds counts as seconds usher in minutes

she could hear her pulse screaming for loss of blood

she knew her time is up as her body sends signal

her legs going numb, sweats covers her forehead

her finger twitch, eye lids heavy

her vision starts to blur, this was the end of it all

as she closed them, everywhere was total darkness

she took her last breath and the world felt it
