THE NIGHT LIGHT

at intervals it shines

carefully illuminating our paths 

the special ones twinkles

adding aesthetic to the night sky

it follows you wherever you go

just to fulfill it's calling 

it's distanced a billion miles away 

but it's contribution is effortless 

the night light up in the sky

shining bright just to guide our feet 

no one loves us more than those tiny stars

they illuminate always just to get us by
