SAFE IN THE STARS

 

let’s get together and parasail 

levitate in the sky till our feet feels better 

the wind gliding beneath our chin 

our hearts bewildered in ecstasy 

up in the sky we are high 

less fear, beautiful worries 

freedom in the wind, so alluring 

can’t we grow wings and fly?

the galaxies above, yet unexplored 

Its glories, yet untapped 

its brilliance, unseen 

it’s divinity, undocumented 

let’s rewrite our stories 

right there and then we will be safe in the stars 

the sky isn’t far from our reach 

this is it, opportunity comes but once 

the sky, our starting point 

the Milky Way, our abode 

the rainbow, our playing field 

we are safe in the stars
