IGNITE MY BONES

 

my bone wax old of memories 

my battles screams in homonyms 

I have witnessed events beyond my years 

cussing my instinct to dare 

I have been bruised and battered 

everything in me shattered 

colored my world in dark grey 

hence I’d not be led astray 

ignite my bones with anesthesia 

I am a world of stigma and euphoria 

a tragic-hero flawed in episodic plot twist 

covered with dews and foggy mist 

unplug my helm with solitude 

perturbed state of penal servitude 

ignite my bones and ease my pain 

lead me on with the charades of the rain
