A SILHOUETTE
a silhouette, a shelter
a grace so profound and better
thousand sorrows multiplies in the marrow
a detrimental affair, we abhor the gallows
a hundred ghost outnumbered
their white apparel flutters unbothered
a season of purge, a season of paranoia
a cursed suburb isolated in a gutter
a log of wood laps in your eye
penitentiary curse or you’d rather die
biter-sweet pills for our Alzheimer
your hope pleading for mercy like anemia
a petrifying aura runs down the gangway
hearts igniting love on a hot day
a Sunday to calm down the Insidious week
perilous weather frostbite the heart of the weak
deserts of differences on their unethical charade
fools aligning straight on a so-called parade
an unbiblical cord for a noose
asphyxiating your soul for a cruise
a silhouette, a shelter
a grace so profound but not better
all are battered beings in nudity
dying gruesomely in sinful chastity
