READ IT OUT
woe betide you if you say it undertone
allow your feelings express it’s state
for this is the passing of a loved one
a precious gem you shall see no more
memories will surely haunt you
the pain of their absence will linger
you will sought them out but won’t find them again
then you will mourn unattended to
read it out and loud
I know those words are roaring in your mind
they are emboldened on the tablet of your heart
don’t hold it back, accentuate them
shout how much you loved them
palpitate as you scream your lungs out
the dead is already gone we know
but their spirits dwells amongst us but for a while
they need to be told how loved they were
this is a feeling most of us don’t show or tell
we keep those words inside of us while they are alive
then lay waste in guilt when they are gone
don’t bask in foolishness
don’t wait till guilt eats up your soul
for guilt springs up loneliness
loneliness then births depression
raise your glasses and cheer
celebrate your loved ones alive every now and then
our bell chimes fast, time sprints
death waits us all, no one gets out of life alive
