RE-WRITE THE STARS

 

it’s us and nothing 

the universe knows this better

we are just a spectrum 

brighter than the brightest star

we ignite and lit up the darkest room 

illuminate hearts when we collide

radiating energies everywhere we step foot

match-made from heaven

we are extraordinary creation 

a creativity made distinctively

made to shine notwithstanding 

we are the definition of perfection 

why don’t we re-write the stars

maybe the world would be ours 

we’ve relegated ourselves too long
