THE PLACE OF DREAMS

I wish I can go back once again 

to the place of dreams

a magical fantasy world  

there, my heart always long to be 

it’s hard to explain it 

the beauty, the aura and serenity 

the magical creatures and entirety 

a place of no gravity 

‘eureka’ I voiced the first time 

when sleep transported me 

so beautiful my eyes couldn’t behold 

waking up was never an option

my legs were transmogrified

I was basking in total awe 

I wish I can stay and never wake up 

my heart belongs here and nowhere else 

I wish I can go back once again 

to the place of dreams 

but sleep now comes in distorted forms 

my deepest craving
