A PLACE TO BE

 

nature calls with kindness and compassion 

beckoning us to retrace our steps 

for we’ve long been lost in our self-wilderness 

we journey aimlessly with no course 

let us sit and watch the sky at night 

catch the glimpse of their twinkling and marvel 

wow ourselves at the shooting stars 

galaxies beholds a beautiful site

let us lie by the beach 

watching people flaunt their humanities

nature caresses us all via the sun 

the weather is enough to soothe our worries 

the waves of the sea sails hope

the breeze projects peace 

hugging everyone and fondling their tents 

an act of undoubted love and friendship 

the sands of the beach are clean and pure 

reminding us how countless life is 

for people have died and gone 

nameless, they have all been forgotten 

the beach, a place to be

where everyone smiles and laugh from their core 

all spirits resonates with the water 

natures smiles with kindness and compassion
