THE GRAVE

the home of unfinished dreams 

the bedroom of unspoken hurts 

silent gathering of corpses beautifully dressed 

showcasing their costumes immobile 

dreams shattered and battered in pains

bodies in beautifully carved tombs adorned in colors haemorraged goals and ambitions 

talents mixed with the soils of hades

dashed hopes of jiving again 

flatworm has come to the field to play 

happily selecting which organ for dessert 

dancing to reggae as they devour a body 

the grave…

the home of unfinished dreams 

for everyday we face the same truth 

that our time here is fleeting, that our life is short
